Seven Months Already!!! The Pumpkin Patch too...

Well, the kiddo is 7 months old and doing so good with everything but sleep! He still cries through almost all his naps in his crib and has been up the last two nights/mornings crying for at least an hour. Other than that he is so cute and doing so much. He amazes us all the time. He is a very good crawler and is very interested in anything technology oriented. Timothy is great at pulling himself up on the table, couch, chair, you name it and chances are he will use it to get himself into a standing position. He has even taken a couple of steps holding on already, we are in for it! I love it when he crawls to what he wants and then turns to look at us and sits up, it is so sweet! Also, in the last couple of days Timmy has started talking up a storm. He is real good at saying DA DA... Here are a few pictures, hope you enjoy.

Last weekend we took Timothy to the Pumpkin Patch for the first time, it was a lot of fun. He wasn't sure of all the pumpkins at first and didn't like being left in the pile of pumpkins or on the bales of hay. We did enjoy the time there though and we got a great pumpkin with a cool stem. The place we went was a pick your own so the pumpkins were still out in the fields, however, most of the vines were quite dry already. The pumpkin patch had a place for the kids to play games, pet animals and have some snacks so we got a shave ice and Timothy had his first taste! He liked it after he got over how cold it was. Happy fall to you all, sure wish the weather would become fall like here in CA, the high today is 92!

The Latest in the Smith House!

Hi! Well, we are trying to get Timothy to learn to sooth himself to sleep...it is a strugle! His crying is getting shorter and shorter but it breaks my heart EVERY time. We've been at this for about 5 days and he still cries for about an hour, I know it will work out but it is hard while it is happening. He is still such a lovable and happy little guy, even when he is so sleep deprived. He makes me smile, he just amazes me daily! God is so good.

Timothy's Sixth Month Doctor Appt.

Just thought I would let you all know Timnothy went to the doctor for his six month check-up. He got his shots and had all his measurements taken. He dropped a little on his curve for weight, he weighs 15.5 pounds, and his little head didn't change at all from 4 months to now. So the doctor said she wants us to come back for a recheck in month. She said his weight curve has probably dropped because he is crawling already. We shall see. He is eating more now so that should help too.

It's Been Awhile...

It has been a little while since I posted a message, we have been very busy and Timothy has changed so much. So, since the last post we have moved into our own place, painted, Steve started school, I finished my first quarter of this school year, and Timothy has grown SO much! He is now six months old, eating cereal and vegies, crawling wherever he wants to go and pulling himself up just about anywhere to stand! He is such a happy baby, we are so blessed by him everyday. He sits on his own and can even go from crawling to sitting all by himself. He amazes me everyday. Timmy is much more into his toys and seems to have a liking for books. He really likes Daddy's Bible. Here are a few pictures and a short video of him crawling, enjoy.

P.S. Erin, I am SO happy for you guys. I got your tag, I'm working on it....

Old Friends, Good Times...

Last weekend Steve, Timothy, and I got together with one of my friends from seventh grade. Anne and her husband Dave invited us down to their home for dinner. It has been almost four years since I last saw them. It was great to spend time catching up and getting to know their two boys a little. We had a wonderful time! Thanks for a great meal and a good time.
