Our Little Movie Star

Daniel had his first audition and first TV show all in the same week! He was on a show that airs on TLC called I Didn't Know I was Pregnant. He played a 4 pound preterm baby born via c-section. He was covered in cream cheese and jelly for the "birth" and then placed in a incubator for the Mom to see...it was quite an experience. I didn't know I could take pics so I don't have any of the first scene...cream cheese and all but here are a few from the second scene... The show is scheduled to air the end of May or beginning of June.

What's Been Goin' on Around Here...

Hey all -

It has been awhile...In the last few months we have moved into a house, had a baby, and been adjusting to life with two boys!

Timothy Turned Two!!! He is still a little peanut and so smart, it amazes us how much he talks and remembers and understands...here are a couple of pics from his birthday...

And...Introducing Daniel Lee - Born February 4 at 12:46 PM, 8 Lbs, 20 In!!!

18 Month Check-up...Finally!

We finally had Timothy's 18 month check up yesterday, even though he is 20 months old, already! We had to wait to be cleared from all the docs from his stay in the hospital. So, our appointment went good! He weighs a big 24 pounds (20%ile), is 33 1/4 inches long (70%ile), and his head is 46 cm (5%ile) around. The doctor was very impressed with his ability to climb and all that he says! This week he actually put together two sentences that were 3 and 4 words long! We, of course, are very proud of our little man! He often talks in 3-4 word sentences.

It is so amazing how much they change in such a short amount of time. Timothy has fully recovered from our stay in the hospital! Praise God!

We have so much to be thankful for, God has poured out so many blessings on us...Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your prayers! We are home and Timothy is making great progress! Praise God! He is walking but still has a long way to go. We are waiting on referals to follow up with the many of the doctors we saw at CHOC and our insurance is changing carriers on October 1st. Please continue to pray that everything will go smoothly and God will give all the docs wisdom. THANKS!!!

PLEASE PRAY!

Hi all -
I have been meaning to post this for a week now and have not had good access to a computer. Timothy is in the hospital. Here is the very short version...last Friday he woke up and was not able to walk or sit up on his own. He was fine on Thursday night, running a low grade fever but nothing that would indicate something like this was going to happen. So we went to ER on Friday morning at our hospital and then on Monday we were sent to the children's hospital. The doctors have found that he has Sacroiliates(sp?) which is an infection in a joint near the tail and has spread to the tissue around and the hip bone. He also has a swollen elbow that he won't straighten but he does use his arm and doesn't complain. At first he cried when we moved him like he was in pain all over. That has come to a stop and he is making great progress in attempting to get around. He has gone from lying there like and infant to scooting and crawling(as best he can with an IV in one hand and a bad elbow on the other side) and he does sit on his own again. He tries to walk when we are fully supporting his weight and helping him but it is VERY clumsy and akward. So, the docs are very pleased with what they are seeing and feel he is respondig to treatment. They still are not sure the antibiotics are the answer because he was beginning to improve before they started treatment. Please pray that this is not going to be an ongoing issue and the God would heal our precious little man! Just wanted to share this picutre of my little man...I think he is just so cute! We have this little hill where we live and he likes to go up and down it then he tries to climb this pole...he is ALL boy!

A Bit of Braggin'

So again, it has been a while...time flies! I just wanted to give an update on our precious little man. He never ceases to amaze us, of course, we think he is just brilliant! Some of his latest...Timothy is 16 months old, and I am guessing he weighs about 22 ponunds and is about 30 inches tall. He now has a vocab of at least 40 words that you can clearly understand and he often puts two words together to let us know what he wants. I must say my favorite word has got to be Amen! It is so sweet.

Also, we had his hair cut...here is a picture of the new style...he is getting to be such a big boy!

Steve and I are proud to share we have a new nephew...Tyler joined us on May 20th at 12:09 AM! He weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 19 inches long! He is so cute! We just love him and can't wait for the day he and Timothy are running around together causing trouble! Here are a few pics...enjoy!

First Haircut!

I can't believe it has been a month since I last posted anything on our blog...sorry about that, time just flies. So this last weekend we took our little man to get his first haircut. He was such a good boy, as always, he just sat in the airplane and let Miss Gina do her thing. He doesn't look all that different but Daddy and I sure can tell. Here are a few pics and a little video clip.

Last weekend Steve and I were fortunate to join our friends Jason and Kim for a quick get away to Tennessee! We had such a great time. We were able to see some friends and check out our house! We met our renters, God could not have blessed us with better renters. The house looks great! They are definitely taking good care of it!

We had a great time eating at some of our favorite places, visiting with friends and spending a little time in downtown Nashville. We went to our favorite BBQ restaurant only to find it has been closed down, SO SAD!!! We were really hungry for Judge Beans! We found another place to eat then went to a duelling piano bar for a while. After that we headed to the Honky Tonks! The Stage is still my favorite and was made better on this trip because they no longer allow smoking inside!

Thanks for letting us tag along on your search for a new home Jason and Kim! It was good for Steve and I to have a little time away from our favorite little man!

Yep, he's one ALREADY!!!

I can't believe a year has gone by since Timothy joined us in this world! He is such an amazing little man. He is doing more and more everyday. It is amazing how much he is starting to imitate us. We just love him so...I told you a little bit ago in a post Timothy had started using some baby signs, well he just continues to learn more and more. In addition to more, all done, eat, and bye bye Timothy is now signing book, hair, hat, monkey, dog, kitty, duck/bird, no no, ball, please and don't know!

We had is one year baby well check and he weighs 20lbs and is 30 in long! We had a great birthday party at the park for our little buddy. He was a good sport but was not so into the cake. He liked feeding it to Daddy but didn't care for any himself!

Old Friends, GREAT Times!

In the last few weeks we have been blessed with the company of some old friends. It was so great to see them and just hang out for the evening and day. Thanks guys, we can't wait to see you all again. Hopefully it won't be so long in between this time. We really enjoyed visiting!

Eleven Months and a Ton of Fun!

Timothy is eleven months old. We are having so much fun with him. He is signing more, eat, all done, and of course he waves bye bye. We think he is just adorable! He makes us laugh a ton and is almost always happy. Taking his eleven month picture was quite fun...here are a few shots. Notice the change of clothes...we gave up and tried again after bath. Enjoy!

Timothy's First Day at the Beach...in January!

In January we had some beautiful weather here in So Cal...January 18th we headed down to the beach with Timothy for his first ever beach day! It was so much fun. The water was very cold but we still let Timothy see what it was all about. We stood with him so the water would come up to his feet, he didn't care for it much. I think it scared him a bit. Overall, it was a good day though. If you look at the picture of Timmy and Steve you will see Steve's right arm has a bandage on it. He no longer has that, his picc line was removed a couple of weeks ago and he is on oral antibiotics. He is doing well, thank God! More later! Happy Monday!

Ten Months and Counting...

So, it has been a while. I have been very busy and time has just flown. Timothy hit the ten month mark and is just more and more fun. He is signing eat, all done, and more. Each time it is soo cute! He is still a pretty little guy, my guess is he weighs around 18.5 pounds. We have had some fun times in the last month and I will try to get a couple posts up in the next couple days.
