Steve's home and Timothy loves his cane...

Steve came home from the hospital Tuesday with a picc line and 6 weeks of antibiotics around the clock...he gives them to himself every 8 hours. He has a beta strepp virus and we are all hoping the heavy dosing of antibiotics will keep it from settling in his hip. If it does we are clear, if not it will mean another complete hip replacement. Please be praying that it all clears up.

Timothy has become pretty good at walking all over our house. He loves to carry "things" with him while doing so...take a peek.

An update on Steve

Hi all - Please pray for Steve. He was put back in the hospital on Friday because his incision is not healing the way it should. He has had a lot of drainage and his skin all around the incision is very irritated. The doc did a culture and it came back with some signs of infection. We are waiting to see an infectious disease doc, that should happen tomorrow, then we will hopefully know more. We are anxious for him to come home again. As for his actual hip, he is feeling good.

Nine Months Already!!!

It is hard to believe 9 months have already passed since Timothy joined us in this world. So much has changed in our lives in that short amount of time. Here are some pictures, he is so much fun. He just makes me smile. Timothy weighed in at 17 lbs 12 oz and is 27.75 inches long. He is in the 10th percentile for weight and about the 30th percentile for height. He's just a little guy, but very busy!

Surgery - Hip #2

Just wanted to say thanks for all the prayers, keep 'em coming for the healing and my sanity...surgery went very good and Steve was in great spirits this evening. Thanks Lord!

First Visit with Santa

Timothy had his first visit with Santa, as always he was a very good boy! Steve and I enjoyed seeing him look at and check out Santa. It was quite fun!
On another note, timothy has already started to walk! He only takes a few steps before falling but he's figuring it out quick...I will post a video as soon as I catch him in the act! Merry Christmas!

A Prayer Request...

Hi everyone. Many of you know Steve is having is second hip surgery on December 16. As the time gets closer I am getting more and more anxious. I don't know why, the time of year, the fact that Timothy is so busy and I will have to do it all, not sure, so, I figured I would give a shout out for a little prayer. I know God will get me through this and everything will be good in the end.

We have so much to be thankful for, we are so blessed in so many ways. Our God is good! Hope you all enjoyed time with family and friends.
